After being on the missing list for 7 months, getting married and spending 6 months in Scotland ,i came back very inspired. Along with a load of 'found organic objects', and was itching to get get down to some serious sculpting again .

Unfortunately i only managed to complete a frog fairy, and a winter dancer fairy ( will add them to my gallery soon) .When doing some DIY i managed to drill a hole in my thumb snapping the front tendon and artery

2 operations and 3 days in hospital were bearable but i am unable to use my left hand at all for 6 weeks and am told it will take 3 MONTHS before i can use my hand .....providing the tendon does not snap again since it got badly shredded .

Its only been 10 days and i am already stir cwazy, it is amazing how difficult it is to cope with everyday life with one hand, but as an artist it is devastating.

Hope all deviant artists take very good care of your hands we only have one pair for life!!!!!!!!!!!

Im going to attempt to do some one handed sculpting so please be gentle with my attempts *blush*.

Anyone else suffered similar with any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated!
